Wristbands Plus

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

This policy explains how Wristbands Plus Limited uses cookies and similar storage technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and tags. They can remember a basket, keep an account secure or, where permitted, help a website understand how it is used.

Cookies used by this shop

Category Examples Purpose
Basket and checkout woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_* Keep the basket, checkout and order session working.
Account and security wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie Sign customers in, protect accounts and confirm that the browser accepts cookies.
Artwork choices Uses the basket and checkout cookies listed above Keep each uploaded file or artwork instruction with the correct item in your basket and order.
Cookie choices wpplus_cookie_consent and wp_consent_* (up to six months) Record the choices made in the cookie banner so the site can respect them.
Payment and fraud prevention Identifiers set by the payment service selected at checkout Process payment securely and help prevent fraud.

These technologies are used only when needed for the requested shop, account, security, payment or preference feature. Their duration varies: some end when the browser closes and others remain for the period needed to remember a basket, login or security choice.

Optional cookies and services

Optional technologies are off unless you choose to allow their category. Depending on which integrations are enabled, these may include Google Analytics or Site Kit and MonsterInsights for audience measurement; UserFeedback or Jetpack for site-use information; and Meta, Google advertising, HubSpot or OptinMonster for campaign measurement and marketing. Typical identifiers include _ga, _ga_*, _gid, _fbp, _gcl_* and service-specific campaign or survey identifiers. Their duration depends on the enabled service and can range from the browser session to two years.

The banner provides separate controls for preferences, analytics and marketing. It sends the choice to compatible services through the WordPress Consent API and Google Consent Mode. Categorised optional scripts remain inactive until the relevant permission is given.

Managing cookies

Use “Manage cookie preferences” in the website footer to review, change or withdraw an optional choice at any time. Rejecting optional cookies is as easy as accepting them. The site removes known first-party analytics and marketing cookies when their permission is withdrawn and reloads the page so the new choice takes effect.

You can also remove or block cookies using your browser settings. Blocking essential shop cookies may stop the basket, checkout or account from working correctly.

Consent records

When you make or change a choice, the site keeps a limited record containing a random consent ID, the notice version, time and categories accepted or refused. It does not include your name, email address or browser details. These records are retained for up to thirteen months to demonstrate and respect the choice.

Third-party services

Payment, anti-fraud, delivery or embedded services may use their own necessary technologies when you choose to use them. Those providers are responsible for explaining their own use. We review third-party services before adding them and limit the information shared to what is needed.
